This Privacy Policy explains how Manas Tour ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit manas-tour.com, book a tour, or contact us. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR and other applicable data protection laws.

1. Data controller

2. What data we collect

  • Booking and contact details — name, phone number, e-mail address, selected tour and date, number of guests, and any comments you send us through booking forms or the website chat.
  • Chat conversations — messages you exchange with our website assistant or our staff.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Marketing data — your e-mail address and consent status, if you subscribe to our newsletter.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 and we do not collect special categories of personal data.

3. Why we process your data and legal bases

  • To process your booking and provide tours — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To answer your questions via forms, chat or messengers — our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • To send marketing messages — only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.
  • To analyse and improve the website (analytics, advertising pixels) — your consent to non-essential cookies.
  • To comply with legal obligations — accounting and tax requirements (Art. 6(1)(c)).

4. Who we share data with

We share personal data only as necessary to run our business, with service providers acting on our instructions:

  • Google LLC (Google Calendar for scheduling confirmed tours);
  • Anthropic (AI processing of website chat messages);
  • Telegram (notification of our operators about chat requests);
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram advertising pixel — only if you consent to marketing cookies);
  • hosting and e-mail providers.

We never sell your personal data. Some providers are located outside the EU/EEA; where required, transfers are protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

5. How long we keep data

  • Booking data — up to 3 years after the tour, then deleted or anonymised (longer only where tax law requires);
  • Chat conversations — up to 12 months;
  • Newsletter data — until you unsubscribe;
  • Technical/analytics data — up to 14 months.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access your data; obtain a copy; rectify inaccurate data; erase your data ("right to be forgotten"); restrict processing; data portability; object to processing based on legitimate interest; withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing); and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. California residents may additionally exercise their rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete and opt out of "sharing" for cross-context advertising.

7. Cookies
